Q I'm interested about submitting work to eye petrol but would like to ask does the copywrite for the artwork submitted stay with the artist?
A The artwork does remain completely the property of the artist. You should keep yourself protected online with repect to your work - the creative commons http://creativecommons.org/ is one way to do this.

Q Do you strickly only use the images within the magazine?
A Images, video, animation or anything else submitted to the magazine will strictly be used in the magazine. For certain images they may be used as promotional material on the site but will always be attributed to the artist. If we would look at using any imagery outside of the magazine or website then this will be only be with the contributors consent.

Q Is the magazine just online? or is it published?
A The magazine is just online and will be distributed to our subscribers digitally.

Q Does it have a client list from the creative industries its targeted at?
A Yes we do have a client list that the magazine is targeted towards. We will be pitching the magazine at both "interested subscribers" ie. other designers, people who are working in the creative industries and "the industry" ie. advertising firms, design firms etc that would be interested in seeing the work of talented individuals that they would not necessarily see through other channels. We have a close affiliation with creativepool.co.uk and will be able to take advantage of their distribution list etc.

Q These no percentage charge on commisions through the magazine?
A There is no percentage charge, fees or any other charge for appearing in the magazine. We are providing a platform where true talented individuals can showcase their work to the wider world. We are eventually looking to sell advertising space in the magazine once we have built up our subscription base and this is how we will be funding the promotion of the site and the magazine.
